Here you can start hiking trails and while hiking you can enjoy the views of three Alpine lakes, waterfalls and meadows filled with flowers.

Bow fall is located at a walking distance from Banff Town. This is a small walk on a snow covered path to see the falls along the Bow River. With the marvelous views of the surrounding scenery, this is a great place to click photographs.

A visit to this lake is highly recommended whether you are visiting Banff in summers or winters.  This lake is very less crowded as compared to other popular lakes of Alberta such as Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. There are boat tours for visitors in summers and it is a great place for fishing. People also have picnics and go hiking in the summers. In winters, boating is closed but still, it offers so many opportunities to have fun.
